The effect of acceptance and commitment therapy on the psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth of patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Objective To explore the effect of acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT)on the psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth of patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,in order to improve their mood and further improve their quality of life. Methods A total of 126 patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation admit-ted from February 15,2019 to March 15,2021 in Henan Cancer Hospital(Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Zhengzhou Uni-versity)were randomly divided into control group(n=63)and observation group(n=63).Both groups were given rou-tine nursing care, and the observation group was combined with ACT on this basis. The two groups were intervened for 8 weeks, and the scores of psychological resilience,post-traumatic growth, anxiety and depression were compared.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used to analyze the results. Results After intervention, there was a statistically significant difference in the tenacity score(34.81±2.23)between the observation group and the control group(31.42±2.45),t=8.122,P<0.001;the score of optimistic rating in observation group(16.742.38)was statistically significant from that of the control group(12.60±2.52),t=9.480,P<0.001;the strength score of the observation group(32.54±0.40)was significantly different from that of the control group(29.76±0.52),t=33.634,P<0.001;the score of life appreciation in the observation group(9.81±2.23)was significantly different from that in the control group(7.52±2.45),t=5.487,P<0.001;the individual strength score of the observation group(15.74±2.38)was significantly different from that of the control group(12.60±2.52),t=7.190,P<0.001;the new possibility score of the observation group(17.54±2.40)was significantly dif-ferent from that of the control group(12.76±2.52),t=10.902,P<0.001;the interpersonal relationship score of the observa-tion group(22.69±2.37)was significantly different from that of the control group(17.62±2.41),t=11.906,P<0.001;the score of mental change in the observation group(7.12±2.50)was significantly different from that in the control group(4.90± 2.51),t=4.974,P<0.001;the difference between the Hamilton Depression Scale score(9.10±1.33)in the observation group and the control group(15.40±1.80)was statistically significant,t=22.343,P<0.001;the difference between the Hamilton Anxiety Scale score(8.40±1.80)in the observation group and the control group(17.30±1.20)was statistically sig-nificant,t=32.654,P<0.001.Conclusion ACT can improve the psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth score of patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and reduce anxiety and depression of patients.
