Effects of psychological nursing intervention based on narrative therapy on health beliefs and coping styles of first-episode schizophrenia patients
Objective To explore the application value of psychological nursing intervention based on narrative therapy in first-episode schizophrenia patients.Methods A total of 150 patients with first-onset schizophrenia treated in Zhumadian Second People's Hospital from 2020-08-01 to 2022-08-01 were selected and divided into research group(n=75)and rou-tine group(n=75)according to different nursing methods.Conventional nursing intervention was used in the convention-al group,and the study group was given psychological nursing intervention based on narrative therapy on the basis of the conventional group.Health beliefs,coping styles,psychotic symptoms severity and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the positive coping score(27.24±1.38)in the study group was higher than that in the conventional group(20.57±1.21),while the negative coping score(10.42±0.56)was lower than that in the conventional group(15.63±0.87)(F=31.473,43.609,P<0.001,respectively);After intervention,the scores of lack of vitality,anxiety and depression,hostility and suspicion,and the total scores of psychiatric symptoms in the study group were(5.46±0.75),(12.49±1.08),(6.82±0.64),and(24.77±3.79),respectively,lower than those in the conventional group(10.57±1.13),(17.68±1.10),(11.36±0.83),and(39.61±4.11)(F were 32.630,29.157,37.513,and 22.988,respectively,P<0.001);After intervention,the health belief score in the study group was(94.27 ±7.25),which was higher than that in the conventional group(75.76±6.72),while the quality of life score was(31.02 ±2.82),which was lower than that in the conventional group(47.67±3.56)(F=16.216,31.750,respectively,P<0.001).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention based on narrative therapy can improve the level of health beliefs,adjust the coping style,promote the recovery of patients'condition,and improve the quality of life of patients with first-episode schizophrenia.
