Evaluation value of serum miR-214-3p and LncRNA PVT1 in short-term prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndrome
Objective To analyze the serum microRNA-214-3p(miR-214-3p)and long non-coding RNA(LncRNA)plas-macytoma variant translocation 1(PVT1)patients with acute coronary syndrome and its value in evaluating short-term prognosis of acute coronary syndrome.Methods A total of 160 patients with acute coronary syndrome diagnosed and trea-ted in Qingfeng First Hospital from 2020-08-01 to 2022-08-31 were selected as the study subjects.According to the occur-rence of major cardiovascular adverse events in patients followed up for 6 months,patients were grouped into an event group of 40 cases and a non-event group of 120 cases.The relative expression levels of miR-214-3p and LncRNA PVT1 in patients'serum were measured using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR).Starbase website was applied to predict the targeting relationship between miR-214-3p and LncRNA PVT1;Pearson method was applied to analyze the correlation between the expression levels of miR-214-3p and LncRNA PVT1 in patients;Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the factors affecting the short-term prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndrome;the predic-tive value of miR-214-3p and LncRNA PVT1 in short-term prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndrome was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results The serum LncRNA PVT1 level of patients with a-cute coronary syndrome in the event group was 1.56±0.35,higher than that in the non event group(1.04±0.18),t=12.185,P<0.001.miR-214-3p was 0.74±0.13,lower than that in the non event group(1.01±0.15),t=10.177,P<0.001.Starbase website predicted that there was a binding site between LncRNA PVT1 and miR-214-3p,and there was a negative correlation between serum LncRNA PVT1 and miR-214-3p levels in patients with acute coronary syn-drome,r=-0.512,P<0.001.Logistic regression analysis found that coronary artery Gensini score(OR=1.357,95%CI:1.090-1.690,P=0.006)and LncRNA PVT 1(OR=3.246,95%CI:1.799-5.856,P<0.001)were risk factors affecting short-term prognosis in patients with acute coronary syndrome,and miR-214-3p(OR=0.458,95%CI:0.294-0.713,P=0.001)was a protective factor affecting short-term prognosis of patients;the area under the curve(AUC)of combined prediction of LncRNA PVT1 and miR-214-3p for short-term prognosis in patients with acute coronary syn-drome was 0.923,which was better than their respective independent prediction,with Z values of 1.759 and 2.283,and P values of 0.039 and 0.011,respectively.Conclusion In patients with acute coronary syndrome,the serum miR-214-3p level decreases and the LncRNA PVT1 level increases,they have certain predictive value for short-term prognosis of pa-tients with acute coronary syndrome.
