Status quo and influencing factors of family doctor contract service in Taian city
Objective To understand the status of community family doctor contracted services, analyze the factors affect-ing residents'contracting services, and propose feasible recommendations. Methods From March 2020 to October 2020,10 communities were randomly sampled from all communities in Taian City where community family doctor services were implemented.A total of 370 signed residents were surveyed on the influencing factors of contracting behavior and satisfac-tion using a questionnaire.Independent sample t-tests,one-way ANOVA,linear regression, and Pearson correlation a-nalysis were used to study the current situation of family doctor contracted services and influencing factors. Results Among the 370 signed residents,294(79.46%)residents believed they had received family doctor services. The most common source of information about family doctor services that residents heard about was health care workers, with 178(48.11%)residents.The most common reason for residents to sign up was the convenience of seeing a doctor and getting medica-tion,with 84(22.63%)residents choosing this reason. The utilization rates of services such as appointment referral,ac-tively asking health questions, home visits by family doctors, and personalized contract services were relatively low,not reaching 50%.There were statistically significant differences in satisfaction among residents with different genders,high-est levels of education, and occupations, all P<0.05.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the correlation coefficients r for behavior intention and behavior attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control were 0.304,0.358,and 0.176,respectively,indicating that behavior intention was weakly correlated with behavior attitude and subjective norms, and very weakly correlated with perceived behavioral control.Behavioral intention is influenced by behavioral attitude and subjective norm, and the higher the score of behavioral attitude and subjective norm, the higher the total score of behav-ioral intention, with regression coefficients of 0.133 and 0.215,respectively,both with statistically significant differ-ences,all P<0.05.Conclusion The publicity efforts for family doctor services should be increased, the content of family doctor services should be optimized, the construction of the family doctor team should be strengthened, and the trust be-tween family doctors and signed residents should be improved.
