Analysis of the incidence of malignant tumors in Laizhou city,Shandong Province from 2017 to 2021
Objective To investigate the incidence and epidemiological characteristics of malignant tumors in Laizhou city,Shan-dong province,so as to provide scientific basis for tumor prevention and control.Methods The incidence of maignant tumor,standardized rate of Chinese population and age specific incidence rates of residents in Laizhou city,Shandong province from 2017 to 2021 were analyzed.The incidence,standardized incidence and age-specific incidence of malignant tumors were statistically com-pared.Results From 2015 to 2019,the total incidence of malignant tumors in Laizhou city was 341.34/105,with 377.79/105 males and 305.52/105 females and the incidence of malignant tumors in males was higher than that in females(x2=160.93,P<0.05).The standardized rate of Chinese population was 196.07/105,with 201.21/105 of males and 192.36/105 of females.The incidence of malignant tumor increased with age and reached its peak in the age group of 80-84 years(the incidence reached 1 150.80/105).The incidence of women in all age groups from 20 to 59 years was higher than that of men,and the incidence of both men and women increased rapidly for people ≥60 years old,and the incidence of men was higher than that of women.The top 10 malignant tumors were lung cancer,colorectal cancer,breast cancer,stomach cancer,liver cancer,pancreatic cancer,prostate cancer,bladder cancer,lymphatic cancer,and esophageal cancer.The incidence of the top 10 malignant tumors in the past five years decreased slightly except for liver cancer and esophageal cancer,and the other cancer types showed an upward trend.The top 5 annual increase rates were lymphatic cancer(30.67%),prostate cancer(17.01%),lung cancer(7.98%),colorectal cancer(7.33%)and pancreatic cancer(4.80%).Conclusions The incidence of malignant tumors in Laizhou city,Shandong province from 2017 to 2021 was on the rise,and the incidence of malignant tumors in males was higher than that in females,especially in males ≥60 years old.Lung cancer and breast cancer rank first in male and female malignant tumors respectively.
