Key competencies mainly refer to the essential qualities and key abilities that students should possess to adapt to lifelong development and social development needs.The development of key competencies and individual socialization complement and promote each other,and in this process,individual socialization development is partic-ularly important.From the perspective of socialization,the characteristics of key competencies,the role of cultiva-ting key competencies in student socialization,and the implementation path were analyzed.At the same time,culti-vating students'key competencies is an important measure to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents,and it is also an urgent need to adapt to the trend of global education reform and development,and en-hance the international competitiveness of China's education.
