Exploring Interlingual Transfer Techniques Used in Transmitting Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health Care Idea to African Through a Multi-dimensional Analysis
Chinese tradition on disease prevention and health care is an integral part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)culture. In recent years, along with the proceeding of"Introducing Chinese culture to the world"initiative,it has become increasingly important to promote the research on strategies of transmitting traditional Chi-nese philosophy on disease prevention and health care to African people, owing to the fact that African people are becoming more concerned about their health.Given the limited research targeted at African readers and few focusing on linguistic dimension, the study investigates African readers'scoring on three versions of translation and selects the highest of all kinds as the samples. The style and linguistic features of the chosen samples are analyzed with MAT(Multi-dimensional Analytic Tagger),amplification, omission and conversion are suggested after examining the highly scored samples. It is hoped that the conclusion can help to extend relevant study.
