张伯驹不仅精于戏曲,是戏曲理论家,还能粉墨登场,于京昆两途,皆当行出色,拥有丰富的舞台表演经验.张伯驹曾师从京剧须生行当的泰山北斗余叔岩,深得其真传.张伯驹演出的《空城计》,被票友盛赞为"伟大的空城计".张伯驹一生热心京剧事业,殚精竭虑,不遗余力.鉴于张伯驹在戏曲艺术方面的突出成绩和卓越贡献,《中国京剧史》单列《张伯驹》一篇,记述评介张伯驹一生从事京剧的重要活动与贡献.
Abstract
Zhang Boju is proficient in traditional Peking opera not only as a theorist,but as an experienced ama-teur performer who outweighs most professionals.Zhang was once a pupil of Yu Shuyan,a great master and creator of Yu School of Peking Opera.Zhang has adeptly grasped the talent of Yu Shuyan and won the reputation of"a ded-icated member of Yu School".Zhang Boju's performance in"the Stratagem of the Empty City"-a popular play-was greatly praised by fans.Zhang has wholeheartedly devoted himself to the cause of Peking Opera.With his outstand-ing achievements and contributions in the field of traditional Peking opera,Zhang has been recorded in an integrated chapter entitled"Zhang Boju"in"The History of Chinese Peking Opera",which describes and appraises Zhang Boju's important activities and contributions to Peking Opera throughout his life.
