A Strategic Study of China's International Communication——Take CGTN and CCTV Global International Video Agency for Examples
In the international arena of public opinion,mastering the power of discourse has emerged as a crucial method of competition among major powers.Strengthening the construction of discourse capacity,enhancing the proactivity and effectiveness of discourse,and constructing a Chinese discourse system have increasingly become ma-jor priorities in China's global communication.Drawing on the experience of international news communication,this article analyzes and discusses the current challenges faced by China's international communication,such as insuffi-cient experience in global communication,traditional and outdated communication methods,and shortcomings in professional personnel in global communication.It provides five strategic suggestions that should be emphasized in improving global publicity,including innovating communication methods,exploring high-quality topics,presenting distinctive viewpoints,adopting an integrated media mindset,and improving cooperative mechanisms.It is hoped that this article and its suggestions will provide a reference for China to assert its voice in the international arena of public opinion,grasp international discourse power,and showcase China's image as a major country.
