Study on the Properties of Modified Graphene Precursors Prepared from Two Different Sized Graphite Materials
Graphite has received more and more attention due to its extensive application in new energy,infor-mation technology and other leading industries of the national economy and high-end manufacturing industries. Two types of typical graphite with different particle sizes are selected as raw materials. After physical characterization,it is found that the specific surface area of the two types of typical graphite is almost the same, but their pore diame-ters are quite different. The pore diameters of the two types of typical graphite are 5.8nm and 1.2nm respectively.Then,1-GO and 2-GO are prepared using the modified Hummers method based on the two types of typical graphite, and the prepared 1-GO and 2-GO matrices are physically characterized,Although the surfaces of the two pre GO matrices have been embedded with oxygen containing functional groups and present a monolayer struc-ture,graphene related matrices prepared with 2-GO as the matrix in the subsequent stage show significantly differ-ent properties when compounded with other materials.
