A Study on the Mathematics Teaching Competency of Elementary Education Graduates——a case study of an undergraduate college in Jiangxi Province
Teaching competency is an important indicator to measure the quality of primary education professional edu-cation.Through the survey of primary school mathematics teachers who graduated from local undergraduate normal colleges,it is found that there are differences in the teaching competency level of mathematics teachers of different genders,different ages,different teaching years,different academic qualifications,different majors and different pro-fessional titles,and that the overall development level is average.It is necessary to improve the overall level of teach-ing competency of primary school mathematics teachers by constructing a scientific professional curriculum system,implementing the general requirements of educational internship and educational practice,strengthening the post-serv-ice training of teachers,and enhancing teacher's career pursuit.
