Higher education,as the education of"making adults",is founded on the principle of establishing morality and nurturing people.As the"metaphysics"of colleges and universities,how to realise the goal of establishing moral-ity and nurturing people,through the"tangible"approach is an urgent problem faced by university leaders and teach-ers.Since reading can make people aspire to high aspirations,cultivate perseverance,nourish their virtues,and unite them in a consensus of values,it is a viable path that can play a key role in the process of building moral character.In the new era,colleges and universities should fly the flag of ideals,improve the reading evaluation system,and help students establish the belief in reading in order to better achieve the goal of establishing morality and nurturing people.
