During the Republic of China period,many female Ci-poetry selections were compiled and published,which have important value in the history of Ci-poetry studies and criticism.The selection of female Ci-poetry in the Republic of China period often outlines the history of female Ci-poetry through prefaces,quatrains,and evaluations of female Ci poets from various dynasties,exploring the artistic value of female Ci-poetry from the aspects of creative achievements and expressive characteristics.The critical discourse of female Ci-poetry selection in the Republic of China period shows distinct characteristics of the times compared with previous generations,emphasizing the ideological value and social education significance of female Ci-poetry,promoting the generous and heroic style of female Ci-poetry,and also objectively recognizing the shortcomings of female Ci-poetry.The selection of female Ci-poetry in the Republic of China period has promoted the formation of the basic characteristics of women's literature,which is a concrete witness to the transformation of female Ci-poetry and its theoretical criticism from traditional pattern to modern pattern.
