Tao Te CHing's Enlightenment for the Construction of Modern Ecological Landscape Architecture
Tao Te Ching is an important ancient Chinese philosophy book which has important ideological value. Its simple ecological viewpoints have an important enlightenment function for the construction of modern ecological landscape architecture. Based on the analysis of the relationship between it and the Chinese classical gardens in this paper, it criticize the erroneous ideas that too much emphasizing on "aggressive" and violating ecology in the modern landscape architecture. Then it gives the enlightenment of Tao Te Ching for the constrnction of modern ecological landscape architecture from the four aspects: ecology, economy, the new ideas of the contemporary landscape architecture and landscape healthcare area.
