A Review on the Progress in Marine Ecosystem Services Valuation
Marine ecosystems provide their irreplaceable ecosystem services with unique biological and abiotic components,as well as their various culture landscapes.Therefore,effectively identifying and valuating the marine ecosystem services would construct the important theoretical foundation for the marine resource exploitation and marine environment protection.Based on the literature investigation,we summarized the connotation of ecosystem services and reviewing the methods of the classification of marine ecosystem services.Then,some case studies of marine ecosystem services were introduced,based on study spatial scopes,study objects and study purposes.Finally,the crucial direction of the marine ecosystem services valuation was discussed.
