The Study on the Regional Evaluation of Circular Economy Development in China
Circular economy is an irresistible choice of turning to the new mode of economic growth and achieving sustainable development. In recent years, different administrative regions in China have already made sizable efforts in increasing resource utilization rate and reducing the emission of waste. Considering the vastness of China's territory and vagueness of existing efficiency evaluation research, relativity and weakness of development between different regions is hard to be effectively measured, which causes the low reliability of existing efficiency evaluation and the weak contrast in horizontal and vertical directions. With the existing evaluation methods being imperfect and development between different regions unbalanced, this paper redefines the range of evaluation index system and expands evaluation scope, offering targeted proposals of regional circular economy development.
