Evaluation of Beautiful China Construction in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration
A performance assessment system for the construction of a beautiful China is constructed based on the synergistic perspective of pollution reduction and carbon reduction.Based on this, the spatial and temporal characteristics of the performance of the beautiful China construction in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration(YRD)from 2011-2021 are quantitatively analyzed with the super-efficiency SBM model. The spatial difference is further explored by constructing the Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition model. Results show that:(1)The performance of beautiful China construction in YRD shows a fluctuating upward trend during the study period. The distribution of the performance values tends to be concentrated in the high-level range.(2)The spatial differences in the performance of Beautiful China construction of the YRD are significant, with an overall distribution pattern of high in the east, low in the west, and high in the south and low in the north.Nanjing,Hangzhou,Hefei,Shanghai and other cities in the center of the urban agglomeration showed the greatest improvement in this performance during the study period, while traditional resource cities such as Maanshan and Tongling faced more pressure.(3)Inter-provincial differences are the main reason for the spatial differences in the performance of beautiful China construction within the YRD,and its contribution rate increased from 46.98%to 72.23%during the study period, with inter-group differences between Suzhou and Anhui being the main source of inter-provincial differences.Accordingly, countermeasures are proposed to promote the TRD to build a beautiful China pioneer zone.
