Analysis of Environmental Index Measurement and Spatial Difference in Youth Development City
Based on macro data from 45 pilot cities for youth development in China,a measurement index system for the environmental index of youth development cities is constructed. This study employed the EM-TOPSIS model to measure the dimensional scores and comprehensive levels of each city, used the coefficient of variation method to measure the environmental index differences of cities within the four major regions, and combined the geographic detector to detect the spatial differentiation interpretation and driving ability of the seven major environmental factors. The results show that the average score of living environment evaluation is the highest, followed by planning environment, and the average score of employment environment evaluation is the lowest. There are certain differences in the performance of cities within the four major regions in various dimensions, with the western and eastern regions having the greatest differences, and some cities showing significant imbalances among environmental indicators.45 cities are divided into three levels of high, medium, and low through calculation. In terms of factor and interaction detection, the explanatory power of health environment factor and employment environment factor is the strongest, followed by planning environment factor and economic environment factor, and the interaction driving force between the two factors is stronger than that of each single factor.
