Evaluation of comprehensive utilization of recreational greenway in small and medium-sized cities based on vegetation resources investigation
The comprehensive Post-Occupancy Evaluation of the public environment based on the intuitive use of citizens is of critical importance to the promotion of ecological city construction,as it highlights the enhancement of public participation and deliver provides referable opinions on how to boost the construction of urban green infrastructure.Citing the greenway around Yushan Lake in Maanshan as a sample,a comprehensive evaluation study on the use of recreational urban greenways in small and medium-sized cities was carried out as per the survey results of greenway ecological vegetation resources.Using the analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,a comprehensive utilization evaluation system was constructed from the four dimensions of ecological evaluation,landscape evaluation,utilization evaluation,comprehensive management evaluation,and comprehensive analysis of the feedback was carried out.The results reveal that:(1)According to the survey results of plant resources in the greenway,the total number of vegetation species amounts to 94 belonging to 52 families and 83 genera.The most frequently used tree species are Osmanthus fragrans(Thunb.)Lour.,Cinnamomum camphora(L.)Presl,Trachycarpus fortunei(Hook.)H.Wendl.,Acer palmatum Thunb.,Camellia japonica L.,etc.Numerous tree species namely exotic ornamental tree species provide with a picturesque landscape effect.(2)The Post-Occupancy Evaluation weighted comprehensive score of the central greenway around Yushan Lake is 3.8389,which borders the satisfaction standard.The comprehensive score of ecological function(3.9656)is the highest,and the comprehensive score of use function(3.7033)is the lowest.The environmental benefits of the greenway are conclusively better.(3)In the index layer,the comprehensive score of vegetation species diversity(0.6760)is the highest,and the comprehensive score of infrastructure(0.0518)is the lowest.The natural resource retention of the greenway is intact,and the use evaluation is satisfactory.However,the boosting of infrastructure is a shortcoming in the construction of the greenway,and it is a must to meet the needs of people.Integrating the existing natural vegetation landscape resources of recreational urban greenways and suggesting corresponding improvement opinions based on the evaluation results will help boost the actual use efficiency of urban space and meet the demand for ecological recreational space.
