Analysis of the Characteristics of Environmental Isotopes and Water Vapor Sources of Precipitation Events in Sihe River Basin of Lower Pearl River
The characteristics of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in each water samples, the water vapor sources of precipitation and the proportion of different water sources of the runoff in two precipitation events were analyzed based on precipitation, river water and groundwater samples collected during six precipitation events in Sihe River basin of lower Pearl River, using stable isotope tracer technique,HYSPLIT model and isotope-based two-component mixing model. The results show that:(1)The δD and δ18O in precipitation range from-98.05‰ to-24.16‰ and-13.33‰ to-4.54‰ respectively, and the local meteoric water line of Sihe River basin is δD=8.22δ18O+13.64(R2=0.98,n=19);δ18O is negatively related to the deuterium surplus, and the values of deute-rium surplus show a"high-low-high"trend approximately.(2)The water vapor of precipitation are mainly from the southwest mon-soon from the Indian Ocean and the southeast monsoon from the Pacific Ocean;the transport pathway of the water vapor trajec-tory of 20140916 precipitation event is quite long, and the hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in the water vapor are relatively de-pleted.(3)The variation range of the underground runoff of 20140916 precipitation event is relatively small, while the surface run-off and total runoff fluctuate synchronously, and the proportion of the underground and surface runoff is about 60%and 40%re-spectively;the underground runoff, surface runoff and total runoff of 20150509 precipitation event all fluctuate synchronously, and the proportion of the underground and surface runoff is about 40%and 60%respectively.
