Resveratrol is a natural polyphenolic compound with anti-inflammatory,pro-angiogenic and cytoprotective effects,as well as antioxidant potential, and is a viable treatment for both promoting wound repair and preventing the development of chronic wounds. This review focused on the molecular pathways induced by the antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,antibacterial and anti-aging properties of resveratrol through different modes of action such as hydrogels, electrostatic spinning scaffolds and bacterial cellulose polymers in various cells, and the factors most relevant to trauma repair. The problems and future research di-rections of resveratrol in trauma repair were prospected.
