Puerarin affects the relaxation and contraction of detrusor muscle in rats by regulating Wnt/β-catenin pathway
[Objective]To analyze the effect of puerarin on the detrusor contraction and Wnt/β-catenin pathway in animal models.[Method]Fifty rats were randomly divided into a control group,a model group,a puerarin 10 mg group,a puerarin 20 mg group, and a puerarin 30 mg group;the model group and the puerarin group rats established a model of suprasacral spi-nal cord injury After the intervention of puerarin and saline according to grouping;one month later, the urodynamics of rats in each group were detected, and the levels of α1G,c-kit,Wnt1 and β-catenin in the tissue were analyzed.[Result]There were significant differences in the protein and mRNA levels of MBC,BLPP,CF,α1G,c-kit,Wnt1 and β-catenin in the control group, model group, puerarin 10 mg group, puerarin 20 mg group and puerarin 30 mg group(P<0.05),and the protein and mRNA levels of MBC,BLPP,CFF,α1G,c-kit,Wnt1 and β-catenin in the puerarin group were significantly different from the model group(P<0.05),among the puerarin groups, the puerarin 30 mg group had the highest protein and mRNA levels of MBC,Wnt1 and β-catenin,and the lowest protein and mRNA levels of BLPP,CF,α1G and c-kit(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Puerarin can effectively activate Wnt/β-catenin pathway and improve detrusor muscle contraction and contraction in animal models.
