SLC2A5 gene and its progression in pancreatic cancer cells
Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst tumors in the world. It has questions such as difficulty in early diagnosis, lack of clinically effective treatment methods, and poor prognosis.According to the relevant literature in recent years, the up-regula-tion and deficiency of SLC2A5 gene are related to the development and migration of pancreatic cancer. The fructose-specific transporter Glut5 encoded by the SLC2A5 gene is involved in the process of fructose metabolism in cells.Fructose is a common sugar source in daily life, and excessive intake affects the occurrence and migration of cancer. This paper summarizes the source and biological function of SLC2A5 gene and the metabolism and mechanism of SLC2A5 gene in pancreatic cancer. It is consid-ered that SLC2A5 gene not only affects the growth and migration of pancreatic cancer, but also may become a potential target for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
