病原体的感染通常从黏膜侵入机体,因此黏膜免疫是保护机体免受病原侵犯的重要策略之一。牙龈卟啉单胞菌(Porphyromonas gingivalis,Pg)的感染起始于牙龈黏膜表面,激活局部黏膜免疫应答是预防Pg感染的有效途径。为了增强疫苗的黏膜免疫效果,往往需要添加黏膜免疫佐剂。该文综述了近年来黏膜免疫佐剂的研究进展,归纳总结了不同类型黏膜免疫佐剂作用机制、优缺点以及在Pg疫苗中应用现状和效果。此外,探讨了黏膜免疫佐剂在Pg疫苗中潜在的应用价值和发展趋势,为Pg疫苗的研发和佐剂的选择提供新思路。
Mucosal immune adjuvant and its application in Porphyromonas gingivalis vaccine
The infection of pathogens usually invades the body from the mucosa,so mucosal immunity is one of the important strategies to protect the body from pathogens.Porphyromonas gingivalis(Pg)infection originates from the gingival mucosal sur-face,so activating the local mucosal immune response is an effective approach to prevent Pg infection.In order to enhance the mucosal immune effect of vaccines,mucosal immune adjuvants are needed.In this review,the recent progress in mucosal im-mune adjuvant was outlined.The mechanisms,advantages,and disadvantages of different types of mucosal immune adjuvants,as well as their current applications and effects in Pg vaccine were summarized.In addition,the potential application value and de-velopmental trends of mucosal immune adjuvants in Pg vaccine were discussed.This review provides new perspectives for the development of Pg vaccine and the selection of adjuvants.
