A Research on Long-Term Care Insurance Systems in Addressing the Aging Population:Case Studies of Selected Asian Countries
Population aging has become a global issue.Long-term care insurance,as an important institutional arrangement to address population aging,has attracted the attention of most countries in the world,including China.This paper studies the social background,system evolution,insurance financing,and benefits treatment of long-term care insurance systems in some Asian countries such as Japan,South Korea,and Singapore.Based on China's national conditions,this paper puts forward suggestions for optimizing China's long-term care insurance system from the aspects of improving the legal system,optimizing financing channels,and strengthening information management.
