Project-based learning practice targeting creative problem solving:Case study of exploring the respiration methods of yeast under different oxygen conditions
In order to enhance students'problem-solving ability,in teaching the experiment of exploring the respiration methods of yeast under different oxygen conditions,we combine Duval's"four components and eight stages"CPS model with project-based learning(PBL).This approach emphasizes leveraging creativity to solve real-world problems driven by driving questions.By presenting phenomena in daily life to spark curiosity, driving questions may occur to students,so they use divergent and convergent thinking alternately to devise various experimental setups to explore the differences in yeast respiration products under different oxygen conditions. This process stimulates creativity, optimizes programs, and leads to products, resulting in excellent teaching outcomes.
