Six new distribution populations of Myricaria laxiflora(Franch.)P.Y.Zhang&Y.J.Zhang were reported,which is a na-tional Ⅱ-class protective plant.These populations are distributed in pebble beach of Minjiang River in Xuzhou District and Cuiping District,Yibin City,Sichuan Province.This is the first time that a naturally distributed population has been found in the Minjiang River,and these populations are also the most upstream population.By this discovery,the distribution area of the species was broadened,that is of great significance for the conservation of the species.The voucher specimen(GAO2022003)was preserved in the herbarium room of Yibin University.
