Local knowledge and its research methods provide a new knowledge perspective and methodology for urban aesthet-ics.The research on Chinese urban aesthetics needs to re-examine the universal knowledge of Western urban aesthetics,delve into the local context of urban aesthetics from the historical and spatial dimensions,start from the"local"urban development,urban cul-ture,and urban space,construct a research concept and system of urban aesthetics with Chinese characteristics,and guide the devel-opment of urbanization with Chinese characteristics.
