Theoretical Analysis of Major Issues in the Socialist Market Economy in the New Era
In the process of developing a socialist market economy,four important issues need to be further clarified:first,a cor-rect understanding of the dominant position of public ownership position cannot be absolutized,let alone fall into the trap of private ownership;The second is to scientifically handle the relationship between the government and the market,which requires a dialecti-cal view of the boundaries between the two and placing the leadership of the Party in a primary position;Thirdly,we must approach the issue of wealth distribution with a pragmatic approach,adhering to a people-centered distribution orientation,while paying atten-tion to stimulating the micro vitality of capital in creating wealth;Fourthly,it is necessary to attach importance to the ideological is-sues behind economic system reform.Clarification of these major issues is not only the theoretical requirement for the development of socialist market economy,but also the ideological guarantee for the realization of Chinese-style modernization.
