A Study of the Spatial Characteristics and Causes of the Cultural Landscape of Shanxi Place Names in the Qing Dynasty
This paper uses the ArcGIS10.8 platform to describe the spatial distribution characteristics of the place names cultur-al landscape in Shanxi in the Qing Dynasty and analyze its causes.In the Qing Dynasty,the spatial distribution characteristics of nat-ural landscape toponyms in Shanxi were basically consistent with the characteristics of regional natural geographical environment,and most of them were named after the characteristics of natural geographical entities.The distribution of cultural landscape place names affected by cultural activities is concentrated in the northeast and south regions;the spatial differences between the place names of various cultural landscape classes are obvious,the northern part is the concentration area of military and political activities and Mongolian Manchu ethnic language place names,and the south is the concentrated area of legendary allusions,commercial ac-tivities,and surname place names,and the distribution concentration of beautiful meanings and architectural place names is low.
