A Case Study of Depression Intervention for Postgraduate Entrance Examination Students
To help a graduate student from a certain university alleviate depression or depressive emotions,rational emotion therapy,systematic desensitization method,and Morita therapy were used for a total of 11 consultations in four stages;Using the Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),and Yale Brown Obssesive Compulsive Scale(Y-BOCS)for mea-surement,combined with self-evaluation,social function recovery,peer evaluation,and psychological measurement results to evalu-ate the effectiveness of counseling.The results showed that through psychological counseling,A's depressive mood,social function,and obsessive-compulsive thinking were significantly improved.Finally,reflect on the counseling process in order to explore new pathways for intervening in depression among postgraduate students and provide reference for targeted interventions in the future.
