As the art carrier of the Northern and Southern Dynasties,the lacquer screen-painting from the tomb of SIMA Jinlong has been attached much importance.Scholars have generated large amounts of instructive research about its aesthetic value,resulting in the ignorance of its ideology,realistic functions and historic influence.Recently,more and more treatises have begun to use the inter-disciplinary research method of art,literature,history and culturology.The role of screen lacquer painting in"verifying classics and supplementing history"beyond the"Filial Sons and Exemplary Women"painting has gradually been realized,which is also the future development trend of such literature research.
