The course"Basics of Translation"has attempted to integrate cultural confidence into teaching in order to enhance students'cultural identity and improve their ability to tell Chinese stories well.This course selects Chinese stories as teaching materi-als to strengthen students'understanding of Chinese culture.Diversified teaching activities are designed to improve students'lan-guage proficiency and cultural literacy.In addition,the course further carries out extracurricular activities to improve students'trans-lation skills and broaden their horizons.The teaching practice has proven that the integration of cultural confidence and translation teaching not only enriches the teaching content but also enhances students'understanding of Chinese culture,laying a foundation for making China's voice to be heard.
