MTI Chinese-Japanese Translation Course Design Based on Curriculum Ideological and Political Education
While cultivating language proficiency,foreign language education in universities should strengthen ideological and political education in curriculum,enhancing students'confidence in Chinese culture.By selecting excellent Chinese literary works such as"Romance of the three Kingdoms"and integrating them into Chinese-Japanese translation practice,students can not only im-prove their translation skills but also deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.This approach aligns with President Xi Jinping's requirement for curriculum and ideological and political theory courses to move in the same direction,achieving an organic combina-tion of knowledge education,value formation,and ability cultivation.In foreign language teaching,we should be vigilant against the infiltration of Western discourse and cultural values,guiding students to correctly understand and disseminate Chinese culture and en-hance their cultural confidence.The design of Chinese-Japanese translation courses should fully reflect this philosophy,contributing to the cultivation of foreign language talents with an international perspective and cultural confidence.
