Review and Research Progress on the Evaluation of Resource and Environmental Carrying Capacity
The evaluation of the resource and environmental carrying capacity is an important foundation for solving the resource and environmental issues and the contradiction between human and land,as well as achieving sustainable development.It is also a fundamental work in national spatial planning,and a hot and cutting-edge field of concern in resource science,environmental science,geography,ecology and urban-rural planning.On the basis of sorting out the research achievements related to resource and environmental carrying capacity,this paper summarizes the current research progress and existing problems of resource and environmental carrying capacity evaluation,and proposes new directions for resource and environmental carrying capacity evaluation research,in order to provide reference for the formation of a more rational,scientific,practical and operable theory,method,and research results of resource and environmental carrying capacity evaluation,and to better serve the national spatial planning work in the new era.
