The Impact of Cage Farming on Water Environment:Taking the Baise Water Conservancy Hub Reservoir Area as an Example
In order to explore the impact of net cage aquaculture on aquatic ecological environment, this article takes the net cage aquaculture water area at the tail of the Baise Water Conservancy Hub as the research area.In August and December 2023,water environmental indicators inside, outside, and control points of the net cage area were investigated and analyzed. The research results showed that:(1)net cage aquaculture has a significant impact on pH,DO,CODMn,NH3-N,etc.in the aquaculture area. The pH of the water in the net cage aquaculture area decreased significantly by 0.7 in August and 0.2 in December. The DO concentration in the cage area is significantly lower than the control point, with an average decrease of about 2 mg/L in August and an average decrease of about 2.2 mg/L in December;(2)The chlorophyll a content in aquaculture water was significantly higher than the control point in August, with the highest concentration reaching 2.83 times that of the control group; In December, the concentration was lower than the control point, and the highest concentration reached 0.8 times that of the control group;(3)The net cage aquaculture activity significantly increased the nutrient content in the water body.In August, the highest concentration of NH3-N reached 0.645 mg/L,while the highest concentrations of TN and TP were 3.28 mg/L and 0.06 mg/L,respectively;The highest concentration of NH3-N in December reached 0.609 mg/L,while the highest concentrations of TN and TP were 1.06 mg/L and 0.04 mg/L,respectively;The aquaculture water area is generally at a level of eutrophication.
