Investigation and Evaluation of Heavy Metal Pollution in Farmland Soil around Key Enterprises in Southwest China
This article investigates the pollution status of six heavy metals(arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead, mercury, nickel)in different depths of soil in the surrounding farmland of five key soil industry enterprises in a certain southwestern region.Multiple statistical analysis,Nemero index method, potential ecological hazard index method, and Kriging interpolation were used to conduct soil pollution investigation and ecological risk assessment. The results show that the contents of copper, lead and mercury in the soil at some points in the survey area exceed 95%of the Order statistic in the A-layer of the Background Values of Elements in Chinese Soils, and the index contents of individual metal pollutants in some areas exceed the screening values of paddy fields in the Standard for Risk Management and Control of Soil Environmental Quality,Agricultural Land and Soil Pollution(Trial)(GB 15618-2018),of which the enrichment of mercury is relatively obvious, there is a certain degree of enrichment of heavy metals in the southwest area of the research scope, which poses certain ecological risks to crops.
