Study on the Impact Assessment of Construction Projects on Biodiversity in Nature Reserves:Taking the Tongde Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Qinghai Province as an Example
Biodiversity is an important foundation for human survival, and establishing nature reserves is an important measure to protect biodiversity.Evaluating the impact of construction projects on biodiversity in nature reserves is an important aspect of environmental impact assessment.Taking the Tongde pumped storage power station project in Qinghai Province as an example, based on Standard for the assessment of regional biodiversity(HJ 623-2011)and Technical Specifications for Biodiversity Impact Assessment of Nature Reserve Construction Projects(LY/T 2242-2014),the biodiversity impact index method was used to evaluate its impact on the biodiversity of the Zhongtiejungong protection none in the Sanjiangyuan national nature reserve. The results showed that the biodiversity index of the protection zone was 28.06,indicating the importance of biodiversity conservation;the impact index of the construction of the Tongde pumped storage power station project in Qinghai Province on the biodiversity of the protected area is 52.38,with a relatively small degree of impact;corresponding preventive measures can be taken to alleviate or eliminate the impact caused by the construction after the construction is completed.
