Discussion on the Environmental Risk Assessment Methods and Prevention Measures of Soil Heavy Metal Pollution in China
Soil heavy metal pollution in some regions is increasingly prominent in China, posing a threat to the environment and human health. This paper summarizes four commonly used methods of heavy metal risk assessment, which are single factor index method,Nemerow pollution index method, geological accumulation index method and potential ecological risk index method, and the applicability of the evaluation methods is analyzed through 3 practical cases. The results show that four heavy metal risk assessment methods express different emphases, and the conclusions are basically the same, but there are differences. In order to reflect the pollution situation of heavy metals in soil, various evaluation methods should be adopted to provide scientific basis for the pollution control and remediation of heavy metal contaminated soil in the later stage. The prevention and control measures of soil heavy metal pollution are proposed from the aspects of soil ecological environment zoning control, establishment of unified risk assessment standard method, environmental impact assessment source prevention and terminal treatment.
