Analysis of the Impact of Typhoon"Hinnamnor"on O3 Pollution in Yancheng
Using the monitoring data of the 11th typhoon process system on September 11,2022,the European Center ERA5 reanalysis data, combined with meteorological elements and air quality data, studied the impact of typhoon"Hinnamnor"approaching and turning on ozone pollution in Yancheng from September 3 to 10 in this study. The results showed that during the typhoon′s approach to Yancheng, the wind speed reached a maximum of 13.7 m/s under the influence of the outer wind circle, the wind field was controlled by northeast winds, and the humid and hot water vapor from the northeast direction was transported to Yancheng, bringing scattered precipitation processes, the correlation between O3 concentration and temperature was not high, mainly due to the inhibitory effect of high humidity on the generation of O3.Upwelling airflow was prevalent near the ground, and the diffusion conditions were good;after the typhoon turned,it merged with the Mongolian cold vortex, and the wind field was controlled by southwest winds, high temperature and low humidity water vapor in the inland areas were transported to Yancheng, while the subtropical high moved northward to control Yancheng, causing a rapid increase in temperature, the positive correlation between O3 concentration and temperature was significantly to 0.88,and the negative correlation with humidity was significantly to-0.79.The high temperature and low humidity atmospheric conditions provide advantageous photochemical conditions for ozone generation,in addition, due to the influence of sinking airflow, pollutants near the ground are not easily diffused, resulting in moderate pollution of O3.
