Implicit Influences of Female Role in Telecom and Online Frauds:From the Perspective of Social Role Theory
Young women have become a victim group at a high risk of getting defrauded online.Surveying 15 female victims in the telecom and online frauds from Y city,X province,this study analyzes the implicit influences of female role on being defrauded from the social role theory.It is found that female victims are in a predicament of being held hostage to both their individual autonomy time and ontological value judgment.To tackle with the dilemma of having limited time,they turn to their parents or parents-in-law who help them take care of their children,and fulfil their expected self-value online,which contributes to that they become the targeted defrauding group.It is recommended to guide modern females to develop a positive and rational view of their roles,which is a new effective point to reduce the crime rate of telecom and online fraud.
