On Reform of Ideological-Political Education in Criminal Law for Public Security Related Majors
To foster virtue through education is a main path to follow the system of talent cultivation in universities in the new era.As the main base to accomplish the basic task of morality building and talent cultivation,police colleges cultivate excellent expectant po-lice officers based on the fundamental issue of what talents to cultivate,how to cultivate and for whom to cultivate.This paper analyzes the significance of ideological-political education in criminal law and the present related reforms in police colleges,and mainly proposes suggestions to upgrade the ideological-political education reform of criminal law in police colleges from three aspects including to im-prove teachers'ideological-political education quality gradually,to emphasize the combat-conditioned teaching,and to change the tradi-tional teaching models and teaching methods,so as to provide a practice reference for ideological-political education in criminal law in police colleges.
