Research on the Role of Big Data in Criminal Execution:From the Perspective of Procuratorial Supervision on Community Correction
Community correction is an important way of criminal execution,and it is the duty and obligation of the People's Procu-ratorate to conduct legal supervision of community correction.The implementation of the Community Correction Law of the People's Republic of China in 2020 provides a strong legal basis for procuratorates to comprehensively promote legal supervision of community correction.However,in practice,community correction work still faces difficulties and bottlenecks such as an imperfect community cor-rection system,poor information flow of community correction,and insufficient application of the"community correction integrated plat-form".With the full development of digital procuratorial work,digital empowerment provides the possibility of improving the quality and efficiency of criminal execution work,but there are still problems such as the lack of deep integration of concepts,models,methods,and capabilities between the current procuratorial duties and digital construction,lack of frequent interaction,and weak mutual promotion.Therefore,in order to further improve the digital procuratorial system and better play the role of legal supervision of the procuratorates,the focus of criminal execution procuratorial work should be determined,the intrinsic value of procuratorial data should be explored,the integration of criminal execution work and big data should be deepened,the governance effectiveness should be enhanced in the iterative optimization of digital models,so that the working capacity of procuratorial personnel can improve continuously.
