Treatment for Vehicle Bumps at Bridgehead with CFG Pile-Foamed Concrete
This paper mainly investigated the vehicle bumps at the bridgehead in the soft soil foundation.According to the numerical simulation analysis of the natural foundation,CFG pile composite foundation,and CFG pile-foamed concrete foundation,the subgrade settlement change laws under these three working conditions were obtained and the effectiveness of using the CFG pile-foamed concrete to treat the vehicle bumps at the bridgehead was clarified.The maximum post-construction settlement under the natural foundation was 22.5 cm,which did not meet the specification requirement.The maximum post-construction settlement of the CFG pile composite foundation was 6.2 cm.The maximum settlement of the natural foundation was located at the top of the subgrade,and that of the CFG pile composite foundation was located at the interface between the foundation and the subgrade.After filling the foamed concrete within 15 m behind the abutment,the differential settlement behind the abutment was reduced,and the maximum post-construction settlement after 15 years was 3.61 cm,which was conducive to the treatment for vehicle bumps at the bridgehead.
