Influence of Parameters of Asphalt Joint Layer on Deformation Volume of Cement Pavement
The uncoordinated stress between the cement concrete pavement and the base layer can easily cause pavement fracture and other diseases.Paving a flexible asphalt joint layer between the panel and the base layer can effectively improve the stress state of the pavement and reduce the base scour. The influences of the load position, the joint layer thickness, the joint layer modulus, and overloading on the pavement deformation were analyzed by the finite element method. The results showed that the load position and joint layer modulus and thickness had little influence on the deformation of the panel itself but a significant influence on the joint layer, base layer, and subbase layer, which could provide a theoretical basis for setting the asphalt joint layer.
