Water Stability and Influencing Factors of Lime-improved Soil
To study the strength deterioration characteristics of lime-improved loess in long-term water immersion conditions,lime-improved loess specimens were molded by the vibration method, and the influences of the water immersion time, compaction coefficient, and lime content on the unconfined compressive strength were investigated. The results showed that when the water immersion time was the same, the compressive strength of the lime-improved loess increased with the increase of the lime content and compaction coefficient;when the water immersion time increased, the 7-d compressive strength increased first and then decreased, and the 28-d compressive strength continuously decreased.Under the same immersion conditions, the increase in lime content and compaction coefficient contributed to the resistance of lime-improved loess to the negative effects of long-term immersion.
