Flexural Experimental Study of Damaged Reinforced Concrete T-Beam Strengthened by Filling UHPC
To study the reinforcement methods of the damaged reinforced concrete T-beam and its flexural behavior after the reinforcement, two T-beam specimens were designed to study the flexural bearing capacity of the T-beam strengthened by filling UHPC in the damaged area, and test results of failure forms,load-vertical deformation curves, strain, and crack shapes were obtained. The study results showed that the reinforcement effect of filling UHPC in the damaged area was ideal, and proper treatment at the UHPC-NC interface could recover and improve the crack loads and flexural bearing capacity of specimens. The good adhesion of the interface between UHPC and concrete T-beam guarantees that the interface stripping occurs after cracking of the concrete T-beam matrix, which can effectively improve the durability of the reinforced T-beam.
