Fast Risk Evaluation for Cutting High Slope Based on Weighted TOPSIS Evaluation Method
The fast evaluation for cutting high slopes facilitates understanding slope hazards and project processes. This paper adopted the weighted TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the stability of six different types of cutting high slopes, and the result was verified by the numerical models established using the finite element software. The analysis showed that the distribution of the slope safety from the software's simulation was consistent with the result from the fast evaluation with a correlation of 0.817,indicating that the weighted TOPSIS-based slope stability evaluation could be effective in pre-evaluation and can be used as one of the auxiliary means for the pre-evaluation of slope stability.
