Analysis of Driving Risks in Large-radius Road Curves Based on Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution
The risk of vehicles passing the large-radius road curves at a high speed is high. This paper took the large-radius road curves as the objective and combined them with the curvature radius, the turn angle, and the useful sight area. This paper evaluated the driving risks based on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS).Then the accuracy of the evaluation was verified by the field tests, and the correlation test was performed by Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results showed that in the contribution to the average vehicle speed of the road curve, the influencing weight of the curvature radius occupied 4.51%,the weight of the turn angle occupied 38.68%,and the weight of the useful sight area occupied 56.81%.The evaluation results using TOPSIS were similar to the field test results, and Pearson's correlation coefficient was 0.916.
