When designing municipal drainage,comparing and selecting schemes of different pipe materials is common.From the perspective of engineering cost,this paper selects reinforced concrete pipe and high-density polyethylene(HDPE)winding pipe to compare their technical and economic properties.By analyzing the factors affecting the two pipe schemes,recommendations for selecting pipe schemes are given.
